Apple Pie Monkey Bread
The sweetness of the apple pie filling really sets this monkey bread apart, and using biscuit dough makes it super easy to make!
Ingredients
- 2 large cans of biscuits - homestyle or flaky work
- 1 - 20 oz. can apple pie filling
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. Firebee Apple Pie Honey
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 4-8 Tbsp. milk
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large bowl, add the apple pie filling. Use a knife and drag it through to cut the apples into small pieces.
Step 2
Add the brown sugar, Firebee Apple Pie Honey, flour, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, and butter to the pie filling.
Step 3
Cut the biscuits into quarters (or even smaller if desired). Add them to the pie mixture and stir to combine.
Step 4
Spray a bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray and add the biscuits and filling mixture, spreading out evenly.
Step 5
Bake for 40-50 minutes or until golden brown on top and the bread is cooked through. Remove from the oven while hot and invert onto a large plate. This helps prevent sticking.
Step 6
To make the glaze, mix together the powdered sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Add the milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the icing has the consistency you want. Once the monkey bread is cooled, drizzle with the glaze and enjoy!
