Breakfast Calzone
Refrigerated pizza dough with all the breakfast ingredients - that's a win in my book!
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated pizza crust
- 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1 - 16 oz. roll of pork sausage
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2-3 Tbsp. Firebee Spicy Honey
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices Canadian Bacon, cut into pieces
- 1 Tbsp. butter, softened
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a large baking sheet with nonstick spray.
Step 2
Cook the pork sausage, bell peppers, and onions in a medium skillet over medium heat, crumbling as you go. Once it is browned, drain the grease and transfer to a bowl.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, scramble the eggs with the Firebee Spicy Honey, salt, and pepper. Cook them in the same skillet you used for the sausage. You don't need to cook them completely as they will finish in the oven.
Step 4
Roll out the pizza dough on the baking sheet and top half of it with the sausage and veggie mixture. Sprinkle the cooked eggs on top, along with the diced up Canadian Bacon and cheese.
Step 5
Fold over the remaining half of the pizza dough and use a fork to press the edges together. Cut a couple of small slits for ventilation and brush with melted butter.
Step 6
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Cut into pieces and serve with additional Firebee Spicy Honey!
