Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Mac

Ingredients
- 8 oz. macaroni
- 12 oz. broccoli florets, chopped
- 1 large chicken breast, diced
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 Tbsp. Bull Honkey Seasoning
Instructions
Step 1
In a large pot, bring 2 quarts of water to a boil and add the macaroni. Cook according to box directions then drain and set aside.
Step 2
While the macaroni is cooking, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the oil and cook the diced chicken, stirring occasionally until cooked through.
Step 3
Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, add the butter and allow it to melt. Whisk in the flour and cook it for a couple of minutes.
Step 4
Slowly whisk in the milk to make a roux. When the milk is stirred in, add the cheese and broccoli.
Step 5
Allow the broccoli to cook in the cheese sauce for several minutes, until tender.
Step 6
Add in the pasta and chicken, and cook until it is heated through. Serve immediately and enjoy!
