Chocolate Honey Pecan Pie

The rich, decadent flavor of chocolate combined with the sweet and salty taste of pecan pie create a taste explosion you won’t be able to get enough of. This pie will wow your family and surprise you with how easy it is to make. 


Yields 8 servings
  • 9 in. pie crust, unbaked
  • 1 3/4 c. pecans
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
  • 1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 1/3 c. Firebee Chocolate Honey
  • 1/3 c. white sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c. light corn syrup


Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a 9” pie plate with unbaked pie crust.

Step 2

Place pecans in the oven on a baking sheet and bake 6-8 minutes or until fragrant.

Step 3

Combine butter, 1/4 cup chocolate chips, and honey in a small bowl and microwave at 50% power, stirring occasionally until melted. Whisk in cocoa powder and set aside.

Step 4

Mix sugar and cornstarch in a bowl ensuring there are no lumps. Add eggs and gently whisk. Add sugar mixture, corn syrup, and chocolate mixture, stirring to combine. 

Step 5

Chop 1  1/4 c. Of the pecans and add into the filling mixture along with the remaining chocolate chips. Mix well. Pour into the pie crust.

Step 6

Bake pie 55-65 minutes, or until filling is set. Cool completely, at least 2 hours. Enjoy!
