Chopped Cheese Sandwich

Why go out to eat when you can make sandwiches like this at home?


Yields 4 Servings
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp. The Shiznit Seasoning
  • mayonnaise
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • lettuce, chopped
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 4 hoagie buns
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, softened


Step 1

Heat your griddle or large skillet to medium heat. Add the ground beef, chopping it while it's cooking. Cook until no pink remains.

Step 2

Drain the grease and add The Shiznit Seasoning, stirring until it is combined.

Remove the meat from the griddle/pan and set aside.

Step 3

Spread some butter on the hoagie buns and place buttered side down into the pan to toast them.

Step 4

Slice the tomatoes and chop up the lettuce. To assemble your sandwiches, remove the toasted buns and spread with mayonnaise.

Step 5

Top each sandwich with 1/4 of the seasoned ground beef and two slices of American cheese.

Step 6

Load them with lettuce and tomato and enjoy!
