Chocolate chip cookies combine with brownies to produce this delicious tasting cookie! A soft, chewy treat for anyone who can't get enough chocolate.
- 2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. Firebee Vanilla Honey
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 c. Firebee Chocolate Honey
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/3 c. cocoa powder
- 1/4 c. powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Make your cookie dough first by softening the butter and adding all the wet ingredients. Mix until combined and then add the dry ingredients except for the chocolate chips. Fold those in once everything else is combined.
Place the cookie dough in the refrigerator to chill while you mix up the brownies.
To make the brownies, add together all your liquid ingredients and mix. Add the dry ingredients, except for the chocolate chips and combine. Fold in the chocolate chips once everything is mixed.
Take the chocolate chip dough and roll it out until you have a rectangle. Try to shape the edges so they are even and smooth. Spread part of the brownie mix on top of the cookie dough, leaving some room at the edges. Spread a thin layer. You won't use all the brownie batter.
Roll the cookie dough up and place in the freezer for 15 minutes. After it has chilled, remove and cut thin slices. Place them on the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely or serve warm sprinkled with extra powdered sugar.
