Mushroom and Swiss Bacon Jalapeno Burger

An Amazing Burger With A Special Kick

An unforgettable burger is more than the sum of all its parts, including the condiments. Grilled on a Steelmade Flat Top, this burger piles on the toppings while its buns are coated with a sweet-and-spicy special sauce made possible only with Firebee Honey.

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 24 ounces ground beef, pattied into four burgers
  • 1 pound thick-cut bacon
  • 4 jalapenos, sliced
  • 2 medium yellow onions, sliced and caramelized
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 4 slices swiss cheese

Sauce (mix well)

  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/4 cup Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Firebee Spicy Honey

Instructions

1. Patty ground beef into four 6-ounce burgers.

2. Heat up Steelmade Flat Top to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Add bacon to Flat Top and sprinkle ground black pepper atop. Cook until crisp then remove.

3. Clean off any excess grease then add sliced onion rings. Grill until brown.

4. Once onion rings are brown and slightly soft, add sliced jalapenos to onions and continue to grill.

5. Add burger patties to grill and mushrooms to onion-and-jalapeno mix.

6. Flip burgers once juice pools then pile on mix of onion, jalapeno, and mushrooms. Top with cheese. Remove burger once cheese is melted.

7. Toast buns and generously spread on special sauce on each bun.

8. Let burgers rest for 5 minutes before placing on bun. Add bacon and enjoy!
