Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bundt Cake

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bundt Cake

A fall favorite, this deliciously moist cake is served with a maple glaze that is out of this world! 

Ingredients

Yields 10 -12 servings
Cake Mix
  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 can pumpkin puree
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. Firebee Pumpkin Spice Honey
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
Cream Cheese Filling
  • 12 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 1/3 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Glaze
  • 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1/3 c. maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 - 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and coat a bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 2

Add the ingredients for the cake mix together in a large bowl and whisk until combined. 

Step 3

Go ahead and make the cheesecake filling by mixing those ingredients together using a stand mixer or handheld mixer until smooth.

Step 4

Spread half the pumpkin cake mix into the bundt pan and then spread the cream cheese filling on top. Add the remaining pumpkin cake mix, and smooth it out to cover the cream cheese layer.

Step 5

Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool for about an hour before turning it upside down on a large platter. 

You can slide a knife down in the pan if needed to loosen it. A plastic knife works best for this. 

Step 6

While the cake is cooling, add together the maple glaze ingredients in a small saucepan and whisk until the butter is melted and the glaze is smooth. Pour over the cake when you are ready to serve and enjoy!

You can top with some fall sprinkles for a little pizzazz!
