Pumpkin Spice Stuffed French Toast

Pumpkin Spice Stuffed French Toast

A unique twist on an old favorite, this Pumpkin Spice Stuffed French Toast will bring everyone to the breakfast table! 

Ingredients

Yields 8 servings
  • 1 loaf brioche bread, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
Cream Cheese Mixture
  • 8 oz. package cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/3 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • dash salt
Pumpkin mixture
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 c. half and half
  • 1/3 c. Firebee Pumpkin Spice Honey
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 c. pumpkin puree

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. 

Cream Cheese Mixture: Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt. Set aside.

Step 2

Pumpkin Mixture: In a separate bowl, beat eggs. Add half and half, Firebee Pumpkin Spice Honey, salt, and the pumpkin pie spice. Mix together.

Step 3

Spray a sheet pan with nonstick cooking spray. Slice brioche bread into 16 slices. Divide cream cheese mixture evenly and spread over 8 slices. Top each slice with a second piece. 

Step 4

Place the cream cheese stuffed pieces of bread onto the sheet pan. Pour the pumpkin/egg mixture over them. Let sit for a few minutes and then flip them over. Allow them to sit for around 15 minutes to soak. 

Step 5

Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and baked through. Cover with additional honey or syrup.
