Red Velvet Cookies

Red Velvet Cookies
Delectable cookies you will want to share with your Valentine! A mix of semi-sweet and white chocolate chips in a rich red velvet cookie will be sure to show your love how much you care!
Ingredients
- 1 c. cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 c. Firebee Chocolate Honey
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. red liquid food coloring
- 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. cake flour
- 1 3/4 c. all purpose flour
- 2 c. white chocolate chips
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
Step 2
Using a mixer, cream together the cubed, cold butter and Firebee Chocolate Honey until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time.
Step 3
Add vanilla and then red food coloring, continuing to mix after each addition. Add in cocoa powder, baking soda, cornstarch, salt, cake flour, and all purpose flour and mix until a soft dough forms.
Step 4
Mix in both types of chocolate chips just until mixed. Refrigerate for 20 minutes to chill.
Step 5
Drop by spoonfuls onto the cookie sheet or roll up into balls and smash for more evenly shaped cookies. Bake for 8-11 minutes or until the tops are dry looking.
Step 6
Allow to cool completely and enjoy!
