Slow Cooker Stuffed Shells

Nothing better than getting home from work and remembering that you put dinner in the crockpot! This dinner is sure to please even your pickiest eaters. 


Yields 8 servings
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 15 oz. ricotta
  • 2 c. mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/2 c. parmesan, grated
  • 2 tsp. garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 12 oz. jumbo pasta shells
  • 24 oz. jar marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. Fuhgeddaboudit Seasoning


Step 1

Brown your ground beef and drain. Add in the minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook until the garlic is fragrant, about 30 seconds.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the ricotta, 1 c. mozzarella, parmesan, egg, and dried parsley. Stir to combine and then transfer to a large zipper bag for easy dispensing. Clip off the corner to squeeze the filling into the shells.

Step 3

Spray your slow cooker with nonstick spray and spread 1/2 c. of the marinara sauce in the bottom. 

Step 4

Layer the slow cooker with half the stuffed shells and half the meat mixture. Top with about half the remaining sauce. Add the remaining shells, meat, and sauce.

Step 5

Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with the Fuhgeddaboudit Seasoning. Add the water along the side of the slow cooker.

Step 6

 Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

Serve hot and enjoy!
