Spicy Sausage Alfredo Bake

Spicy Sausage Alfredo Bake

Smoked sausage is mixed in with the pasta of your choice and homemade Alfredo sauce with a slight kick. It'll have your family coming back for seconds or even thirds! 

Ingredients

Yields 8 Servings

  • 16 oz. dry pasta
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • 2 c. half and half
  • 2 Tbsp. Firebee Spicy Honey
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 c. shredded Italian cheese, divided
  • 1-2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 (12 oz.) fully cooked smoked sausage

Instructions

Step 1

Cook pasta according to package directions until just al dente and drain.

Step 2

While pasta cooks, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, 1-2 minutes. Stir in flour.

Step 3

Whisk in chicken broth until smooth, then add in half and half. Add in Spicy Firebee Honey, salt, pepper, cayenne, and red pepper flakes.

Step 4

Stir in Parmesan cheese and 1 cup of the Italian cheese blend. Slice sausage and add to the sauce along with the chopped parsley and cooked and drained pasta. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed. 

Step 5

Pour pasta mixture into a greased 9" x 13" pan and top with remaining Italian cheese blend. Broil for 3-4 minutes or until cheese is golden and bubbly.
