Spicy Honey Shrimp

Glazed in delicious sweet, spicy, and garlicky sauce, we are confident that this will be your new favorite way to prepare shrimp! Even better, it's made in one pan for easy cleanup. Perfect on a bed of rice, or to top a salad!


  • 1/3 cup Firebee Spicy Honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp jarred minced garlic OR 2 tsp fresh
  • 1 lb raw uncooked shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • chopped green onion for garnish


Step 1

Whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger together in a medium bowl

Step 2

Place shrimp in a large ziplock bag or Tupperware container. Pour half the marinade on top and shake (other half will be used later). 

Step 3

After shaking, place the container of shrimp in the fridge to marinate for at least 15 minutes or for up to 8 hours.

Step 4

Heat olive oil in a skillet on medium-high heat. Place the marinated shrimp in the skillet and cook on one side until pink (about 45 seconds).

Step 5

Flip the shrimp over and pour in the remaining half of the marinade. Cook until shrimp is completely cooked through (about 1 additional minute).

Step 6

 Serve shrimp with cooked marinade over a bed of brown rice and garnish with green onion. Serve with a side of steamed broccoli or vegetables of choice. Enjoy!
