Spicy Honey Street Tacos

Happy Cinco de Mayo from Firebee! This delicious (and easy!) street taco recipe is the perfect sweet heat combination thanks to Firebee Spicy Honey. Try this recipe once, and you will be hooked (hello taco Tuesday!)


Serves 8

  • 2 Tbs Firebee Spicy Honey
  • 2 Tbs lime juice
  • 2 Tbs soy sauce
  • 1 Tbs canola oil
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 lb skirt steak, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 12 corn tortillas, grilled or warmed
  • 1 Tbs canola oil
  • 1/2 red onion, diced (optional)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges (optional)


Step 1

Combine seasoning in a large bowl or ziplock bag. Add sliced steak and marinade for 1-4 hours.

Step 2

Once marinated, bring a large skillet to a medium high heat and add oil.

Step 3

Cook steak and marinade for 5-6 minutes or until marinade has reduced.

Step 4

Serve with warm tortillas and plenty of extra Firebee Spicy Honey. Enjoy!
