Spicy Pork
A quick and easy Asian inspired dish sure to satisfy your take-out cravings without the cost! Made with a few simple ingredients you probably already have around the house, this one is sure to be your new go-to meal!
Ingredients
- 1 pork tenderloin (around 1 1/2 lbs)
- 1 Tbsp. Firebee Spicy Honey
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 5-6 green onions, chopped
- vegetable oil
- 3 Tbsp. Firebee Spicy Honey
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Firebee BBQ Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp. sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the pork tenderloin into small pieces and place into a gallon ziplock bag. Chop up the green onions into 2 inch pieces, reserving the ends for garnish. Add them to the bag.
Step 2
Add the remaining marinade ingredients to the bag and squish to combine and coat everything. Marinate for at least 2 hours.
Step 3
When you are ready to cook, heat some oil on your Flat Top (or in a pan) and prepare your sauce by mixing all the ingredients together in a small bowl.
Step 4
Once the Flat Top is preheated, go ahead and add the pork and onions. (If using a pan, you may need to cook this in batches) Stir frequently to ensure it gets cooked through. Cook until it starts to crisp and is getting browned (about 5 minutes).
Step 5
Once all the pork is browned, pour the sauce over to coat it. Begin stirring the pork around to soak up the sauce. Continue cooking until the sauce is thickened.
Step 6
Serve with rice and garnish with the reserved green onions.
