Spicy Sausage Tomato Pasta
If you're craving a spicy dish, you're gonna love this one! With Firebee Spicy Honey, cayenne pepper, and red chili flakes, it really brings it!
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Italian Sausage, mild or hot
- 8 oz. pasta
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 7 oz. cherry tomatoes, chopped
- 1 handful of fresh spinach, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Firebee Spicy Honey
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- Parmesan Cheese - optional
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente.
Step 2
While the pasta is cooking, brown the sausage in a skillet, breaking it up into small pieces while cooking. Add the garlic and olive oil to the sausage when it is almost done and cook until it is fragrant and no longer ink.
Step 3
Add the chopped cherry tomatoes to the sausage and garlic, stirring until combined. Add the remaining ingredients except for the spinach and parmesan cheese.
Step 4
Allow the tomato mixture to simmer for about 5-10 minutes and then add in the spinach and cook for about 5 minutes more.
Step 5
When the pasta is done cooking, drain it and place into bowls for serving.
Step 6
Spoon the sauce over the pasta and top with grated parmesan cheese and additional Firebee Spicy Honey for some added heat.
