Spicy Supreme Pizza Lasagna

Spicy Supreme Pizza Lasagna

This dish is a mixture of supreme pizza and lasagna in one pan - what more could you ask for? It’s sure to please everyone in the house and have them asking for seconds! 

Ingredients

Yields 12 servings

  • 1 box lasagna noodles, prepared according to directions on package
  • 1 lb. Italian sausage, cooked, chopped, and drained
  • 1 package pepperoni
  • 1 package Canadian bacon
  • 1 small container ricotta cheese
  • 1  lb. Italian cheese blend, shredded
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 1/2 bell peppers (colors of your choice), diced
  • 8 oz. mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
  • 2.25 oz. can sliced black olives, drained 
  • 23 oz. jar marinara sauce
  • 14 oz.  jar pizza sauce
  • 1/4 c. Firebee Spicy Honey
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
**You can omit or add any topping of your choice


Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Cook the lasagna noodles as directed on the package. Drain the noodles and set them aside.

Step 2

While the noodles are cooking, brown the Italian sausage over medium heat. Remove the Italian sausage from the pan and lightly cook the onions, mushrooms, peppers, and garlic in the dripping for 3-4 minutes. 

Step 3

Mix the ricotta cheese, eggs, parsley, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning together in a medium bowl. 

Step 4

Mix the Italian sausage back in the skillet with the vegetables and add the marinara sauce, pizza sauce, and Firebee Spicy Honey. Simmer on low heat until heated through.

Step 5

When the sauce is heated, begin your layers by placing some of the sauce on the bottom of a 9” x 13” casserole dish. Cover with a single layer of noodles, then the ricotta mixture, meat sauce, Italian cheese blend, olives, meats, and then repeat as many times as your ingredients or pan will allow.

Step 6

Bake the lasagna until bubbly around the edges, about 30 minutes. If the top starts to brown too much, tent it with foil. Garnish with fresh basil and parsley if desired and enjoy!
