Vanilla French Toast Casserole

This is the perfect back to school breakfast since it can be made up the night before and popped in the oven. What a delicious way to make sure their bellies are full when heading back to school! 

Ingredients

Yields 8 servings

  • 1 loaf brioche bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/3 c. Firebee Vanilla Honey
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/3 c. butter, melted
  • 1 c. frozen mixed berries
  • 1 c. fresh berries
  • powdered sugar for garnish
  • extra Firebee Vanilla Honey for garnish

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9" x 13" pan.  (If preparing right away - if leaving overnight skip this step)

Step 2

Cut bread into 1" - 2" cubes and set aside. Whisk together eggs and milk in a large bowl until combined.

Step 3

Add the Firebee Vanilla Honey and cinnamon into the eggs and milk and stir well. Mix in the bread cubes and toss to combine.

Step 4

Let the bread cubes soak anywhere from 5 minutes to overnight. Add bread to the prepared baking dish and drizzle with melted butter. Top with frozen berries and bake for 30 minutes. 

Step 5

Garnish with fresh berries, powdered sugar, and a drizzle of Firebee Vanilla Honey if desired and serve. Enjoy!
