Vanilla Honey Pound Cake
Whether it’s your birthday or not, this cake is a must have. Make from scratch, this cake is very moist and is made with mainly honey rather than white sugar, making for a healthier alternative.
Ingredients
- Cake
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 1 1/2 c. Firebee Vanilla Honey
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 5 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 1/2 c. all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt

Icing:
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 2-4 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a Bundt pan.
Step 2
Cream room temperature butter with honey and white sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla and blend.
Step 3
Next add flour, baking powder, and salt and combine until mixture is smooth and creamy looking.
Step 4
Pour batter into Bundt pan and bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Step 5
Remove cake from Bundt pan and cool on a wire rack.
Step 6
Once cake has cooled, mix all ingredients for icing together with whisk until smooth and pour evenly over cake before serving.
